helsea Brown became guilty by association when her husband, Aaron, approached her with the idea to open a boutique tile showroom. She had been bitten by the tile love-bug too, and was excited to build a family business with Aaron. She left her first love of teaching to pursue a career (without a defined title) in the office. Since then she’s been juggling a busy schedule with two young children and a mountain of paperwork. She often dreams in tile and has hopes to one day turn her tiny wartime home into an eccentric arts and crafts cottage in the city.
Aaron Brown and his wife, Chelsea, founded River City Tile Company in 2011. Aaron has become known as an encyclopedia of tile knowledge, and can often be found blurting out tile facts to whomever is in range. He is unapologetically passionate about ceramics and loves anything art deco, midcentury modern, or arts and crafts. Aaron continues to be a member of both the installation and sales teams, and can be seen racing between job sites and meetings with thin-set on his pants.
